Ms. Bertrand, a Canadian, has been living and working in Asia since 1999. She lived in Singapore from 1999 to 2007 after which she moved to Phuket Thailand. She is a sought after Drama Specialist offering her unique workshops and classes to local and foreign students. She is the only free lance Drama Educator in Phuket.
She owned and operated two schools of drama called A.S.T.A.R (After School Theatre Arts and Recreation) in Canada, for 12 years. She opened her first school of drama at the age of 23 in Toronto Canada. She supports the creative process of her students no matter the age. Developing confidence through creative expression has been her passion for many years now. She conducts courses and workshops in speech and drama; acting for stage; storytelling; creative movement; poetry appreciation; script writing; to name a few. She has directed over 50 children’s plays and performances for live audiences.
